Redeployments
Redeployments enable you to redeploy previous successful builds with the latest app configuration. This can be useful for applying updated app settings to the latest or previous builds.
Triggering a redeployment
Section titled “Triggering a redeployment”To manually redeploy the build of a specific deployment:
- Navigate to your app in the dashboard
- Open the Actions menu of the specific deployment
- Select the Redeploy action
- Confirm the action
Automatic redeployments
Section titled “Automatic redeployments”Redeployments are automatically triggered when environment variables, instance sizes, or autoscaling settings are updated, unless the Save only option is used.
Affected configuration
Section titled “Affected configuration”Redeployments use the container image build from the target deployment (🎯), while all other settings are based on the app’s current configuration (🆕), as shown in the following overview:

Redeployment targets
Section titled “Redeployment targets”Only deployment with a successfully built container image can be redeployed. Furthermore, redeployments can themselves also be redeployed like any other deployment.
